The DropTale Project is a social media application which comes to life with the ambitious goal of making the history of every GPSable place on earth accessible to everybody. Every structure, statue, house, archeological ruin, lake, mountain, forest, view – all have a great story waiting to be told by someone. How nature created them, how humans built them and the secrets behind places. Descriptive tales with historical details and narrative spirit, rather than personal experiences. All Spoken Languages and Sign Languages are welcomed.
From the DropTale Project's perspective, a traveler is anyone, at any time, crossing any site on the planet, including a daily way to work, shopping, climbing a mountain, or just around the neighborhood, with enough curiosity and desire to enrich the knowledge about the world surrounding us.
Join us recording and sharing your knowledge. Let’s build the richest travel guide tool ever created and then, by standing at any single place on earth (or in the comfort of the sofa at home) being able to listen to the story told by one of us.
Spoken Languages and Sign Languages are all welcomed. Tales can be told and later on searched by two languages, i.e. one spoken language and translated into a sign language, or any combination of them.
